A group of experts responsible for receiving reviewing and responding to computer security incident reports and activity within an organization. CSIRT analyzes security threats coordinates responses recovers affected systems develops preventive measures and communicates with stakeholders minimizing damage from security incidents and strengthening organizational security posture through lessons learned.
