Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

A chronic inflammatory lung disease that causes obstructed airflow from the lungs. COPD includes emphysema and chronic bronchitis is typically caused by long-term exposure to irritating gases or particulate matter and leads to symptoms such as breathing difficulty coughing wheezing and chest tightness.
